Regina Mort is a Senior Training and Development Leader with extensive experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting and delivering training solutions designed to support the organization’s business plan. Regina is passionate about creating an interactive and enjoyable business environment that supports learning. She has spent the past several years building the leadership and training focus within GlobalMind Solutions, including creating customized content for clients to take their challenges and business opportunities and turn them into personalized solutions for increased business success.

Prior to founding the training arm of GlobalMind Solutions, Regina was a property level operational leader for Westin Hotels & Resorts, where she led hotel teams to create a strong culture of guest service. She was brought into this role to facilitate an improved communication plan between all areas of the hotel and increase collaboration between departments and leaders.

Before her operations focus, Regina served in several hotels in leadership roles, including leading the Human Resources and training/development functions for the highly successful opening of The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, with its 1400 employees. In this role, Regina successfully implemented a behavioral based interviewing system for the pre-opening phase of the hotel (the first within Starwood Hotels & Resorts to move to behavioral based interviewing).

Over her 20 years in the training and development arena, Regina successfully designed and implemented programs in management development, team building, diversity, communications, customer service, sales, change management, performance management as well as many other topics. Her work has always been focused on meeting the strategic needs of the organization.

Regina’s outstanding strengths include leadership, communication, facilitation and influencing and she enjoys the opportunity to put them to work, whether helping an individual property with specific operational needs, or designing and/or facilitating training programs virtually or in person.

Regina has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Political Science from Indiana University.
